Performances

Sometimes George be-bops with a 20-piece big band, sometimes it’s just he and a vocalist presenting an intimate night of jazz. Most often, he’s on stage with his cohorts in the George Maurer Jazz Group or Trio playing jazz by the seat of their pants.

George’s live shows blend music, storytelling and his ever-present wit into an unforgettable experience, whether he’s performing his own "jazz and gospel-tinged", poetry-inspired song cycles or indulging in the Jazz Trio’s irreverent originals.

See him once and you’ll understand why his music ”makes for an immediate emotional appeal”.

See details below.

Deja Vu is the first album by the rock band Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Released in March of 1970, it topped the pop album chart for one week and generated three Top 40 singles: "Teach Your Children," "Our House," and "Woodstock." In 2003, the album was ranked number 147 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time, and VH1 named Daja Vu the 61st greatest album of all time.

Collective Unconscious is a group of musicians who have a history of making incredible music together, whether it be their own originals or covers. They have stunned audiences throughout Minnesota with their productions of The Beatles' Abbey Road, The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds, and Simon Garfunkel?s Bridge Over Troubled Water.
